Job description
We are seeking a full-time Lead Mobile Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, participating, and supervising various mobile development projects. Your primary focus will be maintaining existing hybrid mobile applications using Apache Cordova and JavaScript, with some general Cordova maintenance comprising a small percentage of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will serve as a contact person and actively participate in the development of new applications based on AngularJS, React, React Native, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of mobile developers.
- Maintain and enhance existing hybrid mobile applications using Apache Cordova and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new mobile applications based on AngularJS, React, React Native, and JavaScript.
- Interact with SQL or NoSQL databases to retrieve and store data for mobile applications.
- Ensure adherence to Web API principles for seamless integration with backend services.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development and suggest improvements to enhance application performance and user experience.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of mobile applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
Requirements and skills
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- Strong proficiency in Apache Cordova and JavaScript for hybrid mobile application development.
- Familiarity with AngularJS, React, React Native, and JavaScript for building new mobile applications.
- Proficient in interacting with SQL or NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
- Solid understanding of Web API principles and experience integrating mobile applications with backend services.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services or Azure Service Fabric is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in leading and supervising development teams.
